Default I need a good assasin build - for factions

I need a good assasin build I have Shiro's Blades, (+2) Dagger Mastery and (+2) critical strikes rune and my armor is all valkyrie (+35 health). I have 26 energy and 516 health. I can change dagger mastery to deadly arts just need a good build. Meanwhile I have factions, haven't got nightfall.

shush, yanman. though it would be good if you wiki'ed or looked at the build thread if you want a build...I guess...*shrugs* I would think suggestions would be more helpful. So I shall give one.

a tip for factions that i found useful when i was starting out:

if you're unsure of the monk in you party and want to live longer, use any skill that involves shadow stepping back to an ally when your health gets slightly under half.

I used Recall (this was before I had zealous daggers and like I said, when I was first starting out) and I had received a lot of compliments and favor among monks because of it. I'd put it on someone who would be far away (not necessarily a monk, could be a ranger or ele or necro) and when my health reached just below half I'd deactivate and self heal. It's also good when you know that a mass of putrid explosions is about to occur so you can get your butt out of there and not take a lot of damage.

you may or may not need, but like I said monks healed me more often than the other sin (who would blindly rush in and die.) and I died less even if monks couldn't heal me cos I could self heal with shadows refuge a safe distance away

i didn't have valkyrie armor, though, so i don't know if you'd still need it *shruggers*

I absolutely love my critical barrager. http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Build:A...tical_Barrager It deals ALOT of damage to many people and all you need is a good zealous bow. (I favor the Chkkr's flatbow). Also your sub par armor that makes assassins difficult at accomplishing their primary purpose is far less relevant here for you will be attacking from range.

Check the builds, see what appeals to you. General bits of advice.

I have played Critical Barrager, yes it works very well. In Factions, use of a longbow to some degree or other is recommended.

If you want to stay pure daggers, get a noattrib longbow over on the island. These have max damage of about 9-11. When henching, open fire with the longbow, or pull. In just a few seconds your henchies will be aggroed with the mob. Then take down the mob's healer, or most troublesome caster. Or defend your own healer and casters from attack. Basic idea here is get your hench to start the fight. Then you finish it for them!

Taking along an archer usually gives you the best chance of having an ally out of combat to retreat to, either with shadow arts, or by double clicking on the archer's name in the party window.

With a no attrib longbow, you do not have to be an A/R. I play either A/R, A/N, or A/W usually. But there are lots of great builds.

my vote, as everyones should be, goes for the critical build
however, since u aint got nf, u dun get way of assassin,

HOWEVEr, i found a varient, that still is effective

a/n:
crit eye
locust fury
(lead)
(offhand)
(dual)
plague touch
critical defenses
way of perfection

atts dun rly matter, but usin a 20% enchant thingy helps alot

enjoy

I will say helpful advice is still good, and you gave some nice helpful advice.

As for Wartox,

I don't have a "good" build, I have some that are nice, but you have to be always aware of your surroundings (including what your healers are doing). Having said that, I won't bother with offering any builds (because you really have to get used to all the facets of the Assassin to be able to survive with them).

Look at Yanman.be's links, that should help you on your way.

Good luck!
